theexplodingogre Another fantastic release from Austin, Behind the Veil of Sleep takes noticeable influence from '60s precursors. Some of the tracks are noticeable reworkings of The Chocolate Watchband.

While these derivations are a bit off-putting if one is very familiar with the Chocolate Watchband, this is still a very good album, with these tracks serving to highlight the influences of this band's garage sound. Favorite track: Poison Apple.
